Leadership Development consultancy gets a 17:1 ROI from marketing campaigns

Talent for Growth

Talent for Growth is a leadership development consultancy that specialises in 360 feedback. It has over 15 years experience of designing and delivering 360 feedback projects in a range of organisations and industries.

Talent for Growth provides 360 feedback delivered via an online system and also provides a full range of support services such as training, high impact facilitated feedback and coaching.

The challenge

Business to date had been through word of mouth recommendation and referrals. However, in order to achieve growth targets, Talent for Growth needed to engage in some pro-active marketing to generate new leads and clients.

Recognising that they lacked the resource and know how to do their own marketing, they decided to engage an agency.

The solution

Xander Marketing won a competitive pitch to secure the account based on its experience with similar businesses and immediately got to work with strategic marketing consultation meetings to develop a short term and long term plan of action.

In the short term it was identified that 360 feedback was a niche that Talent for Growth could exploit. Talent for Growth had a 360 software package that could be used as a ‘value add’ for its consultancy. This was a standalone product as well and Xander Marketing worked with Talent for Growth to redesign the homepage to increase conversion rates.

It also identified a target market and created a lead generation email campaign where a free guide: “5 Steps to implementing a high impact 360 feedback project” was used as a giveaway and call to action. Anyone downloading this paper was followed up with a phone call.

The results

The results of this initial campaign resulted in new client business of over £15k resulting in a 17:1 ROI.

Talent for Growth has now signed up for a 6 month marketing retainer focused on more lead generation emails, regular blogs, newsletter, landing pages and AdWords.
